ONE LOVE JAMAICA!

ONE LOVE JAMAICA!

ONE LOVE JAMAICA!

My husbands **th birthday (I’m not allowed to disclose it) had to be a special one and when my cousin sister Pooja heard about our plan, she wanted us to celebrate it together as her husband was turning 21 too. 😉

A trip to remember was the theme. So, into the hat went this trip plan, Vegas, sombreros, Bob Marley, big apple, and even aloha.

But the sandals sale in Jamaica settled it and jerk chicken it was.

10 hours flight later ( London to Montego bay), the first thing we said was, “it smells like Kerala!”. It looked like it too.

Two hour bus ride later we arrived in Paradise…

A few pics that screams memories and there will be more on youtube very soon.

The butler villa and the all inclusive sandals package sold it to my husband, where as the 16 restaurants under one resort roof sold it to me. Of course! Food and Shweta go hand in hand!

Can we talk about another selling factor please… a bar in the pool that is opened for 24 hours.

Scuba diving was included but where are the jet skis? I am just having a nap before I turn on the Jet Skis!

The colours of the Caribbean sea is close to colour of jade. I definitely need a sea facing property right here and its 90 miles to  Cuba from here.

Sandals Onchi is a place I will never forget.

Between the endless scrumptious meals, amazing cocktails ( highly suggest the rum cream blended and bob marley cream)

A white party theme at the Rabbit hole

Then the occasional afternoon rain, dip in the million pools and the private one… Husband stars in this one! 🙂

There were the sound of crickets, a jazz bar called the “Rabbit hole” that looked like a house of  a Hobbit, outdoor movie theatre, a number of outdoor activities, bbq, white sandy beach with turquoise coloured water…

A 100 bloody Marys at the infinity bar pool…

A day at the spa or the by the beach? Oh, the dilemma!

Or we could just play a game of chess like the way the students of Hogwarts would do!

Any meal you want, any time of the day with a view….ask the butler to arrange that *sigh*

Then there were the sunset cruises, incredible butler service, breakfast in bed (brought to you by your butler and I thoroughly recommend the “generals breakfast” consisting of akkian salt fish), a week wasn’t enough!

This definitely was a trip of a lifetime and a lot of memories went undocumented, but I would not have it any other way.

Have you ever been to Jamaica? What was your best trip ever? Let me know in the comments below…

For our honeymoon we went to St Lucia, and my first comment when we landed was ” This is just like Goa”. Very happy memories!

We were in Jamaica back in 2015. We stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe in Montego Bay! Ohhh what a trip it was!! Food was amazing, the water was breathtaking and we had the most relaxed vacation ever! It was also for hubby’s —th milestone birthday 😉
