In the makeup industry, whole of 2017, Fenty Beauty made a mark and won the game… and I give you the chance to win the Stunna Lip Paint in my Fenty Prize draw below, so be sure to enter!
This joint venture between Rihanna and Kendo (they manage Kat von d, Marc jacobs and many more) was such a huge success that every product launched left the public anticipating and standing in line for hours to get their hands on it. That is the power of Rihanna, I am assuming.
When Rihanna, smartly marketed the stunna lipstick by releasing a home video of her applying this beautiful red, we knew that this was going to be another success.
It is slightly expensive for a lipstick and they did put it on the same level as a high end luxury brand and the website describes it to be a weightless, 12 hour liquid lipstick with a soft matte finish, born into one head turning red shade that looks incredible on all skin tones.
In the past, I have always mentioned my love for the sephora cream lip stain in 01 for its comfort level, pigmentation, long wear and most importantly , the price.

Stunna lip paint has to be the most pigmented liquid lipstick I have come across, more than Sephora 01, to be honest. It is so rich in colour that one swipe covers the entire lips and you do not even have to go for seconds. The formula is very creamy in its consistency and immediately dries down to a soft matte finish like their site promises. On application, something about this deep red formula makes your lips look bigger as well. No joke!
The wand application is a bit tricky and it isn’t my favourite. It is a small stubby wand where the tip applicator is shaped almost like a hourglass. It was designed to hug every curve of your lips and if you are not a pro in applying a liquid lipstick in general, you might love the applicator.
The bottle is beautifully packaged and shaped like a nail polish (very Christian Louboutin inspired) and Fenty always nails it in the art work and packaging of each and every product. No complains there.
The only negative point I have is that this lipstick does not last for 12 hours. On me, it lasted for 5 hours max and it does have a tendency to bleed on the word go. But, even when it transfers, since its packed with pigments, it stains the lips so deeply that it looks like you still have a red lipstick on even after an oily meal. Be prepared to carry a pocket mirror 24/7 when applying the Stunna lip paint just to check on your self.

My final thoughts
Yes, It is expensive (24$ for 4.5 ML) and it does transfer. But, I haven’t come across a more pigmented , comfortable and a unique rich red so far. So for that, this lipstick is totally worth it. Absolutely lush!
